To ensure that all IT related infrastructure within POV and its holdings are well planned, designed, developed, implemented and supported in achieving productivity, growth and enhancement of the core vision of Place of Victory. This includes ensuring all hardware and software products are well maintained; coordinating and also ensuring that all IT activities are completed in accordance with set procedures, input accurately, Industry Standards and in a timely manner in order to enable a stable production environment.

Job Description:

1. To ensure that all IT related infrastructure within POV and its holdings are well planned, designed, developed, implemented and supported in achieving productivity, growth and enhancement of the core vision of Place of Victory. This includes ensuring all hardware and software products are well maintained; coordinating and also ensuring that all IT activities are completed in accordance with set procedures, input accurately, Industry Standards and in a timely manner in order to enable a stable Production environment.

3. To ensure all hardware and software products used within and by the JH representative are correctly licensed and adequately supported.

4. To supervise and ensure the efficient operation of the company’s network, client servers, databases, and equipment. This will include managing all staff, internal and external users, as well as being responsible for monitoring and diagnosing network and hardware problems.

5. To work closely with the IT executive staff and decision makers in other departments in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of POV.

6. To design, install, monitor, maintain, and performance tune production databases while ensuring high levels of data availability, as well as develop, implement, and oversee database policies and procedures in order to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software.

7. To carry out administrative requirement for the department such processing IT purchase invoices, expense claims and general payments, arranging appropriate authorisation in accordance with set procedures for all new Purchases. To receive and reviews purchase orders, check requests and other documentation for completeness and compliance with POV contractual requirements. To also manage and assist in dealing with external IT vendors.

8. To ensure all IT assets are well documented, labelled and adequately maintained, including ensuring all maintenance contracts and license details are keep up to date.

9. To maintain a register of assets bought and sold, schemes in progress and prepare information on status of assets.

10. To ensure full documentation of all IT related projects, infrastructure, asset inventory (including password list & ACL), network Layout and software and License documentation.

11. To support and maintain all of POV’s web sites, as well as be responsible for ensuring they are kept up to date and adequately backed-up, and ensure all hosting, licensing, domain name renewal and expiry details are adequately maintained.

12. To ensure full disaster recovery process are implemented for all devices in accordance with POV policy and documented. This should include regular backup of all data storage facility.

13. To ensure the agreed disaster recovery procedure is well documented and put to test at agreed interval, for instance Data restoration procedure is carried out at agreed interval to ensure disaster recovery plan is adequate.

14. To perform all other relevant duties and as assigned by leadership.

Job Requirements:

· Good education with English Language and Mathematics ‘O’ Levels.

· An Excellent understanding of computing concepts. (OS, databases, Network infrastructure, Licensing, IT Policy and Industry standards).

· In-depth IT analytical skills.

· Professional qualification within the IT sector is recommended.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality.

· Be detail oriented and numerate (good with figures).

· Ability to organise and prioritise your workload.

· Ability to work at evenings or weekends occasionally.
