(Is 40 - Is 42)
Memorise: "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul" (Gen 2:7)
Read: Genesis 2:6-7
6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
In Ezekiel 37:1-10, after prophet Ezekiel prophesied and dry bones became corpses, the Lord asked him to prophesy one more time. When he did, the wind blew, life entered the corpses and they became a strong and mighty army. What happens when the wind blows? In Genesis 2:7 after moulding man, he was a lifeless mould until the wind blew and the mould metamorphosed into a living soul. You have living souls all over the world today because the wind blew. Whenever the wind blows something always comes out of nothing. Over your life this season the wind is blowing and it will bring something good out of your nothing in the Name of Jesus.
A woman from a very wealthy home was barren for many years. They had spent so much in their search for a child. One day, they met a professor of medicine who after several tests, discovered that the woman had no ovary. He privately asked the man why he was wasting his time because without an ovary, there can be no conception. When the woman heard that result, she was shattered, yet she summoned up courage. On their way home, she told her husband they had heard the report of the specialist but that they should go and hear the report of Jesus. They attended one of our programmes without saying why they came. During time of laying hands in prayer, hands were laid on her and she fell under the anointing. She was on the ground for 45 minutes. I even thought she was using the opportunity to sleep a little since it was a vigil. I did not know the wind was blowing. The following year, she returned with her baby to testify. When the wind blew, it turned her nothing into something. This period, the wind is blowing in every direction of your life. That hopelessness is giving way to hope. That situation of financial dryness is receiving a transformation into water springs. Success is replacing former failures. Promotion is overtaking stagnation in your life. It is the turn of the Heavenly wind to blow. For a user of this Devotional, that impossible child that has caused you continuous sorrow is receiving the wind of Heaven now. This same child will become your greatest cause for joy and celebration. Go ahead and thank God for leasing the heavenly wind to blow in your favour.
ACTION POINT:
Father, let your wind blow away everything that is making my life a struggle.

Fondly known as G.O or Daddy G.O, Pastor Adeboye became the General Overseer (G.O) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in 1981. Sheer curiosity and the search for a solution to a personal problem led Pastor Adeboye to worship at RCCG – Ebute-Metta in 1973. It was a most unlikely place of worship for a professor of Mathematics as the church had very few educated people and it lacked the comfort and grandeur of the Orthodox churches.
His desire to reach the ends of the earth is captured in this statement, “I would love to have a breakthrough to such a height that I can lend to nations and preach on every television and radio station at least one hour per day.”
