(Jer 13 - Jer 16)
Memorise: "And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man" (Gen 2:22).
Read: Luke 6:37-38
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
"And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man" (Gen 2:22).
One lesson from Genesis 2:21-24 is that Adam made a contribution before Eve came. Another lesson here is that when God asks you to sow, He may not tell you in which area your seed will work for you. All you should do is simply obey. Adam knew he was the only creature that was not paired, yet he continued to enjoy the company of animals until one day he sowed a rib and it spoke out his wife. You can sow a seed and it can bring you increased anointing or divine graces. A brother sowed a seed of N 50,000 some years back and it spoke life for him during a terrible accident he was involved in, on the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos about a week afterwards. Your seed could pave way through academic defects or spiritual bondage. You may never know where your seed will speak for you: just trust the Lord. He knows what's best for you and He is acquainted with your needs. Keep on sowing.
You would observe that it was the rib that God took from man that He returned to him as a woman. Your seed is the raw material Heaven requires to make your finished product. A wife is a finished product. To get her, you may have to part with something dear to you. Sometimes, you would hear some believers grumbling about not receiving any harvest from past seeds, and asking why they should continue to sow? Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 says each seed you sow is not wasted. They are merely raw materials to be processed by Heaven before returning to you. Also, God did not retain Adam's rib, but used it to meet the need of his life. God does not really need your gift. You are the one who needs to sow for yourself. This is what the Lord meant when He said 'Give and it shall be given unto you....' (Lk 6:38). No gift that meets God's expectation can be lost. Many Christians still see giving or sowing as losing or reducing. That is very wrong. If Adam gave a rib and God created more ribs, bones, legs, hands, a head, flesh and sinew, and added all to that single rib and returned a woman; then your seed is only an investment. God is waiting for your seeds with which to create your desired finished products. Give to Him today!
ACTION POINT:
Sometimes, when you sow a seed into a particular area of need, Heaven may see the need you cannot see and therefore apply it there.

Fondly known as G.O or Daddy G.O, Pastor Adeboye became the General Overseer (G.O) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in 1981. Sheer curiosity and the search for a solution to a personal problem led Pastor Adeboye to worship at RCCG – Ebute-Metta in 1973. It was a most unlikely place of worship for a professor of Mathematics as the church had very few educated people and it lacked the comfort and grandeur of the Orthodox churches.
His desire to reach the ends of the earth is captured in this statement, “I would love to have a breakthrough to such a height that I can lend to nations and preach on every television and radio station at least one hour per day.”
