(Prov 19 - Prov 21)
Memorise: "The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the well spring of wisdom as a flowing brook" (Prov 18:4)
Read: Proverbs 18:20-21
20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
When God asked Ezekiel if the dry bones could live again, he replied in a very interesting way: He said "O Lord GOD, thou knowest" (Ezek 37:3). He almost said 'Impossible'. Luke 1:37 says nothing is impossible to God. Matthew 19:26 says, "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible". From this scripture, the One who created man spells out his limitations. Every man has limits. If you think you can do it without God you will be over-stretching your limits. When you decide to take a car beyond its speed limits, any dangerous thing can happen. On the other hand, the Lord says God has no limits. God is not limited and can never be limited by whatever limits man. The good news is that when you make the Almighty God your God and trust Him absolutely, your capacity is automatically extended. What cannot limit your God will no longer limit you. This is because as a child of God in true partnership with Him, you will operate from His level - total dominion. Are you operating from that realm today? In the Name of Jesus, your own case shall not be impossible with God.
Ezekiel's answer teaches us to be mindful of our words. When the children of Israel were asked to go and possess the land of promise, they said they could never make it. And all those who said that, never made it. But you will also notice that it was not the same day, month or year they made the negative confession that they were wasted in the wilderness. This means their negative confession went ahead of them to stop their entry into the land. Some believers are suffering today from their harvest of negative confessions made several years ago. Nothing can be as easy as hindering yourself. It takes external enemies quite some effort to hinder you because you could resist them. But it is very easy to hinder yourself. You do not need to get arms and ammunition to stop yourself. The external enemies will need those and more. To stop yourself, all you need do is confess negative things about yourself and that will be it. In what ways have you used your mouth against your destiny? Repent, renounce them and confess what God says about you. Break every curse or trap your mouth has brought your way.
ACTION POINT:
What you say about yourself has a deeper, farther and enduring effect on you than what others say about you. What do you say about yourself?

Fondly known as G.O or Daddy G.O, Pastor Adeboye became the General Overseer (G.O) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in 1981. Sheer curiosity and the search for a solution to a personal problem led Pastor Adeboye to worship at RCCG – Ebute-Metta in 1973. It was a most unlikely place of worship for a professor of Mathematics as the church had very few educated people and it lacked the comfort and grandeur of the Orthodox churches.
His desire to reach the ends of the earth is captured in this statement, “I would love to have a breakthrough to such a height that I can lend to nations and preach on every television and radio station at least one hour per day.”
