38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

If you want to experience open Heavens, you must be absolutely humble. Also, Heaven demands total obedience from such an individual. If you are obedient to God in one aspect of your life but disobedient to Him in any other aspect, Heaven will most likely not open to the person. A third condition is that you must participate in post-salvation water baptism. If you were water baptized in a white garment church or you were baptized in a Pentecostal church before you were genuinely saved, your baptism is not valid. You will need to start with baptismal class again. Some people who have realized the need for another water baptism refuse to do it because of pride. Such people are not only preventing open Heavens but also trying to hinder themselves from making it into the Heavenly planet. Someone once came to ask me, 'What do you mean? Is it not only one baptism?' Yes, only one valid baptism! You can do ten water baptisms and all of them will be of no use.

Total separation from sin is another prerequisite for open Heavens. Why? When Heaven opens to you and the power of God comes and begins to burn, it will attract negative visitors. Satan or his agents may pay such a fellow occasional visits as he did to Jesus (John 14:30). Before you cast out a single demon, you must have resolved never to sin again. If you command a demon to go in the Name of Jesus, he will obey, but will report the fellow at their headquarters. That believer will be noted. When another demon that was sent on a mission to some place else is also dislodged by that believer, the demon will equally report him to their headquarters. When several demons are complaining about one believer, Satan will ask them to pay the fellow special attention. The demon will ask if they should join forces and attack him but the devil will stop them because the fellow is yet too hot for them. He will ask them to keep their surveillance in place so that immediately he sins, the hedge will be broken and the serpent will be empowered to bite (Ecc 10:8). But as long as the hedge remains unbroken, you can retain the power of God and remain a vessel unto honour. Are you toying with sin? How then can the Heavens open to you? Keep yourself pure. If you have broken the hedge in any way, repent, restitute and stay on with Christ.

Examine your life and identify the cracks and immediately apply corrective measures to seal them up.
