(Lk 4 - Lk 6)

Memorise: "Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD" (Prov 18:22)

Read: Genesis 5:1-2
1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

To have your desired finished products, you must be ready to part with something. Adam parted with his rib and got Eve in return. Do you want to be heavily anointed and mightily used of God? What contribution have you made? What are you sacrificing in order to have that desire? Remember, it is the raw materials you give to God that He will combine to make your finished product. In Genesis 2:22, after creating the woman, God brought her to Adam. Whenever you see a heavenly finished product, there is no way you will not admire it. The first day Adam sighted Eve, he knew she was the product of divine combinations. Today, when some brothers see the finished products of fellow brothers, they would want to do anything to have it. No. That is not your own. Your brother's wife is not yours. She was designed to fit into his life, not yours. Even if you succeed in taking her from him, she will be a misfit. If you want yours, send your raw materials for Heaven to process. If however you make no inputs, you would have a wife who is not from Heaven.

"And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of man" (Gen 2:23). A brother travelled all the way from Lagos to the north to convey his marital intention to a sister. After he shared his testimony of how he got to know beyond all reasonable doubt that she was God's choice for him, she too shared hers and they thereafter agreed she should pray to have scriptural backing. As he was leaving for Lagos, she and another sister saw him off to the airport. But she felt like a part of her was leaving. It was a strange experience. They had never been boy friend or girl friend. Eventually they married. It was easy for Adam to recognize Eve because a part of him was already in her. If you have made the right inputs - given God sacrificial offerings in praise and worship, seeds, prayers etc., towards your marriage, by the time God brings the finished product, something inside you will connect with something inside the finished product, because a part of you is already inside the product. Such a person can hardly miss God's will. Is any part of you inside anyone?

ACTION POINT:
It is by sowing into your future partner, that you provoke this internal chemistry.
